I just did a complete carpet change from grey to black in my 03 coupe. After reading several reviews on this forum, I decided not to buy any of these new kits...largely in part to fitment issues, bindings....etc. I spent some time searching and ended up buying a complete kit from a donor vehicle....made the install a breeze as everything is pre-cut and molded. Also installed Vettenuts insulation kit while the carpet was out.
Doner, from Vettenuts or similar is by far the best option. I bought the complete ACC kit in Truevette with mass backing, and was very disappointed. The fit is not good, the binding around the parking brake was so atrocious i cut it off and applied a door edge strip. Stains in a couple of places, burns from the molding heat in others. The insulation is loose, and not very close to original.
