My new yellow top has a round sticker on the top with 2/19 on it. I tried to use the Julian calendar to figure out if this was the correct date but it doesn't make any sense to me. The UPC sticker on the side of the battery is 8295409165 and the top has a UPC of 81140500045. Could someone help me out on the true manufacture date of this battery? The one I originally bought last week had a date of 8/16 on it and I told them it was three years old and I wanted a replacement. The numbers shown above is the replacement I got. Don't know if someone added a 2/19 sticker to it or what. Thanks, Mike

the 2/19 is Feb 2019. Its the date it left the factory.. manufacturing data has nothing to do with warranty.
the warranty is not from the date of manufacture, but from the date of purchase.
GCG is correct on the production date. The circular sticker with the date and month can be added/removed/changed anywhere from the factory to after the battery has been put on a shelf and is used for inventory tracking (and sometimes to catch people trying to fraudulently get warranty replacements).
Thanks folks. I knew the sticker and bar code did not match in dates. Didn't know the sticker was the date it left the factory. Just wondering. Now it makes sense. I knew the warranty was from the day I bought the battery but the first battery with the three year old round sticker was not acceptable to me. I have been very happy with my optima's in the past and just want to make sure that trend continues.
