Headliner Saging

I have an '02 coupe with the painted roof panel. The interior fabric liner has started to sag so it needs to be repaired or replaced. I assume the panel is just glued to the top so it shouldn't be too hard to remove. Has anyone delt with this problem and what was your solution?

Is it the fabric or the entire piece sagging? Mine was the entire foam piece and not the fabric. Easy to get some automotive spray adhesive and reattach.

The headliner fabric in my ‘02 sagged too. A local trim shop replaced the pad and fabric for about $60. That was 8 years ago and it still looks great.

The fabric is loose and the backing is coming loose from the top. It's beyond help. I found this on EBay. Might give it a try.

I installed this. It’s heavy duty, - more like a carpet material laminated to 5mm foam. Install was pretty easy. Just took some patience to tuck it under the perimeter of the top. Looks great.
