There are plenty of threads on this if you use the search feature and you will get many different opinions and choices. You probably want to be hanging out in the C5 General section of the forum.

BTW, welcome to the CF!

Welcome to Corvette Forum! As FX VETTE suggested the C5 section is a good source of information.

Welcome to the forum, the best source for c5 info. There are as many opinions about tires as there are members, c5’s and tire models! Please also be aware that because of various manufacturers decisions, one needs to be flexible about tire choice and these cars are not overly sensitive to size variation.

Being in Florida, I would go with a summer tire to get the best performance. You don't need all season tire which are a compromise. Most of the top brands offer a good high performance summer tire. So look for the best deal.

I'm sure it was listed but didn't see it.....Go to TireRack.com and click tires and then select vehicle or weather or where ever you want to start.

Choices will vary depending on your wheel size, ex 17/18 18/18 19's etc. 17's aren't as numerous as they once were. Check Michelin 4's Continental sport, Firestone Indy 500. All very good summer tires for florida You don't need all season tires where you live.

Why isn't there a tire thread in the stickies? Maybe that would help limit some of these posts we see almost daily

Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my 02Z. Great summer tire that's just as good as Michelin but much cheaper.

The Michelin AS3+ZP is the best all around tire for what ever part the country you’re in. Read about tire when it comes to performance.

Wrong. Both Run flats and all season tires are compromises when it comes to performance. Recommending all season tires for Florida is just bad advice and a waste of money if you want maximum performance for your sports car. Yes, please read about tires before you make a decision. Not too hard to find out the truth. Try Google. You might learn something.

No one tire is best for a particular application or region, and neither is one brand is “the best”.

Steve

I have the same set on my 01 base and they're great. Way quieter than the Hankook Ventus V12 that were on there from the previous owner and competitive to the pilot sports in terms of grip. (1 track day on them so far)
