Less then 7% of car were prob manufactured to my specifications....maybe less then 7% and how many still exist on the road ...I still think investment...yes I have plenty of fun and enjoy the car but I still expect to have turned a pretty penny off it in the end ...if there perhaps was ever one ...Doesn’t that bring more value ? People some people anyways aren’t really willing to get rid of their toys ...if they don’t reap what they seek....by the time the edge of time rolls around and somewhere sometime someone wants a c5 what could they expect to pay ..5-600k maybe more if you want all the premium options ... Just can’t find Um much one day 20’years later ...I bet now 2% of 5k cars is what 250 ....1/2 are prob been melted down ...so 125 2000 corvettes prob exist world wide with all the options in pewter that’s a big maybe 125 ....


But sure I get it I’m just judging year specific only ...not including the real after Math of year by year production..which still after all the track converted one and wrecked scraps how many exist today in total ?

 

Not all cars are collector cars. In fact...MOST are NOT. You can rattle off the numbers and statistics all day long. However, unless you're talking about a C5R (or something else on that level), your C5 is never going to be a collector. There were simply too many made, and too many that still exist in premium condition. Also, consider that the C6 is essentially the same car with more HP and a slightly updated interior. No one here is saying that the C5 isn't a GREAT car. However, if you're looking at it as a financial investment, you're going to be disappointed. If you look at it as an investment in personal enjoyment... well for that IMHO, the C5 is hard to beat

 

Plenty of them out there. At least they were all built with the Z51option. Of course, a good few FRC's are now masquerading as Z06's...

What will someone pay to go 0-160 per day in 6 sec ‘s ? Prob a lot more then a stock c5...

Today’s market 15-17k I have seen a slight rise given the last 3 years actually.....California cars oh are also so much more sought after ....I had someone off me 28k the other I refused it ...cars worth more then that to me ...this my friend is the value ..Doesn’t matter what the next man gets it’s about what I fetch for my car ....long as I get what I want I’m happy i usually am good at selling as it’s my job anyways .....so..end results I think value has gone up ..will continue to grow ...investment = something long term ...I bet in 20 years when the car is 40 ...it returns 40k stock form ...more of its been modded from mild to wild ...

Car gas all the options in Pewter just can’t find I’m from 2000 like that . Black interior full electric driver /pass ..HUD ...all of it power telescoping...just a luxury sports car and out here in Cali I have a registration with a luxury TAX on the bill..Just one more tool I will use to drive the price of mine up ...I’m a sales man in the real word big boy ....One hell of a good at that If I must boast a little ...so before I went selling recklessly I would pre plan my advertising....!
