Default Z06 tire size recommendations.

Now that no manufacturers are producing the stock tire size for the c5 z06, what size would work using the stock wheels? The car is a 04 z06CE with the polished alum wheels which I want to keep.

I don’t know about “readily” available but discount tire still has a set of Michelin ps2 and Goodyear for a stock z06.

There you go. You can buy them at any time. Other places have other brands.

Readily available seems obvious. Why act like you don’t know when you continue the same sentence listing options?

Seems like a “duh”.

”readily” available means many options. No doubt the sizes for z06 are continually being discontinued by manufacturers. The Michelin tires will be discontinued soon thereby leaving just one brand available. I would say these tires are getting more scarce than readily available.

Dude.

Thats one place. There are several more choices elsewhere.

Obviously you don’t know each model is made in batches. Probably 10 choices out there currently.

Readily.... available.

I have Continental Extreme Contact Sports on my 02Z, 275/40-17 front and 295/35-18 rear. Great tires, very similar to Michelin PS4 except cheaper.

dude. Got any links? Please show me “ten models” out there. I’d be really interested to see.

This wouldn’t be such a heavily discussed topic recently on this forum if the tires were readily available.

I had the same size on my ‘02Z, stock wheels, Vredestien tires.
on this car with ‘almost’ Z size wheels I have 255 front, 295 rear.

no problem either way.

There would not be a problem with the stock coupe and vert sizes on the Z06 rims. I've benn running that combo for over 10 years. Work just fine.

The only tire size not widely available is a 265/40/17. It's perfectly ok to go with either a 255/40 or 275/40 front. The oem size 295/35/18 rears are not hard to find.
People really need to quit overthinking this and making it harder, than it really is.

Search yourself.

I have a Z06 so I’ve been looking the last 2 weeks.

Im settling on Michelin PS4s (which isn’t listed on your single search source but is available).

Body side moldings, low mileage worries, targa roof refinishing, engine washing, engine picks come up constantly even though one same page there might already be a multi-page thread about the same crap.

Same regurgitated vomit asking about tires too.

Josh, do you have oem C5Z wheels, on your car? Michelin is now offering the PS4's in the oem sizing? If so, that's great news.
If you have to "settle" for a set of tires, hard to beat those. lol
