Sorry man. I can’t even understand those sentences. There’s a lot going on there. Are you drunk!? Lol. Anyways, I was just trying to ask you about the misfit baer rotors in the rear because I am legit interested in them. Nevermind though. Enjoy your car my friend. And, hey, ease up in the forums. After all, we are all c5 owners at the end of the day! Rather than changing subjects, if you get the chance I’d like to hear your thoughts on the rear rotor issue. Is there a way to clean the rotor and have it be normal looking? Thanks for the help fellow vette owner. After all, you’re the one that brought up rotors and asked me to “look them up.” :-)

Don’t “dunk” and text (or post in this instance). :-) I don’t want your “goat.” And please “don’t fell sorry” for me. Lay off the scotch my friend. Also it’s “you’re a child.”

I have Baer 14” 6 piston F&R brakes and I have a small area that does not make contact on the rotor. The Baer rotors have a coating on them and because the pads cannot come in contact with hat you will have a small area which does not ‘clean up’. With Non Coated rotors it is not as visible as it is with coated rotors. If he were to have bigger calipers the surface that does not contact the pads would not be as large as they are. An OEM caliper (designed to be used with a 12” OEM rotor) with a larger ‘aftermarket’ rotor will have more of an unused surface for braking; hence, the larger ring on his rotor.
