After several times monkeying around with my floor jack I realized I was too old for this ****. Sore and tired just getting my car off the ground. I like the idea of putting some carpet or something under the jack/floor contact points to make it easier to slide into position. I've also got some of those stay in pucks on the way.
I'm going to drill holes then use a countersink bit and screw it into the bottom of the quickjack. I tested the material and it slides across concrete easily
Worked through my first time set up issues with my Quickjack and it worked perfectly! Did my work under my car with plenty of room underneath. Should have purchased this thing sooner!
They are on sale again on Costco.com for $999.99 from today until 2/13. Not the same as $899 last year but I pulled the trigger.
My local store didn't have them so I had to get them delivered but shipping was free.
Thought I would pass it along.
