I do like the color combo for the car/wheels shown in post #4. It is not some ungodly color like red or green on the yellow and is a subdued shade of bronze. If you like the color combo, go for it. Dare to be different.

Forgestar offers a couple different options
Bronze Burst and God bronze matte finish. Not sure I like the texture of the matte finish if it was smooth it would be great

I agree. Here's a few examples of different brands of 305/30/19 tires.
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 - 12.2" tread width
Pirelli P Zero - 12" tread width
Toyo Proxes R888R - 11.8" tread width
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 11.5" tread width
Kumho Ecsta PS91 - 11.3" trad width
BFG G-Force Rivals S 1.5 - 11.1" tread width
Continental Extreme Contact Sport - 10.9" tread width
Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 - 10.8" tread width

Obviously, this isn't every tire brand available but does give you an idea of what I'm talking about. My personal opinion on C5 rear wheel offset is that most wheel retailers try to take the path of least resistance and attempt a one-size-fits-all approach. My personal experience is they really don't want to sell you a wheel, with different offset specs, even if such a wheel will fit your particular application, better.

I vote no unless it’s the subdued matte version then maybe. I’ve been wrestling the idea of putting bronze/gold wheels on my silver z06 but wife tells me I’m crazy. Thank you fyrarms for articulating what I couldn’t quite figure out in regards to wheel color vs body color, I think you hit the nail on the head.
In the end it’s your car go for it. I have a nostalgia for the gold/bronze wheel from the race cars of the 60-70’s, they always remind me of the grand sport corvettes or the gt40’s.

Original spec 20x11 67mm offset, 8.650 backspacing

Rim narrowed to a 10.5 which gives a 61mm offset, 8.150 backspacing, Nitto Invo 305/25/20 sidewall of tire is 1/8" past the rim

Tbair to add to what several have said, when in doubt you can go to just about any given tire manufacturers website and find out a given tires actual dimensions before purchase. It can be time consuming but it can be of help.

I try to explain to people all the time that no tires is created equal in size for a given size for all brands and model lines. Brands and model lines can vary upwards of an inch in either direction. I've never understood my their is better accuracy in tire building.

Those look amazing. Nice choice sir!

If something happens to my z wheels in the near future those you picked are what would be going on my car.

Yeah, running zero degrees of neg camber, and a tire that runs wide for a 305. Multiple things wrong with that scenario. Def a setup only a street outlaws dvr recording straightliner would run....

Those are going to look awesome on a yellow car.

Years ago I had a yellow miata that I put bronze Volk CE28's on and they looked amazing.
I was hesitant before purchasing them but never regretted it.

Have you decided which tire brand you are planning to run? I was thinking of stepping down to a 295 just for the same poke concerns you had.

If you're that concerned, why not order the rears with more offset?

I was told by a few vendors that they were offered in set offsets for the C5. That said, I never tried contacting forgestar directly.

Haha! Those are actually my satin bronze F14's I remember taking those beauty shots of them before I initially installed the set. If you Google "c5 Corvette bronze wheels" you'll find pictures of my car. I'm a DSLR *****, oh well

It is a nice combination
