Well as usual I have gone back and forth on wheels. I like the F14s but read that they poke out a bit. wasn't sure if I could live with that. Looked a several pictures and its not so bad. Now the big question. I have a millennium yellow car. Current wheels are black. they look fine. But was thinking Bronze Burst. They look great on black and silver cars. Even red they look good. Did a quick search on google of yellow cars with Bronze wheels. Found a couple of pictures. on of a Lamborghini yellow with bronze wheels. Looked pretty good. What do you all think? Have I lost my mind. would be the first time I've been told that.
Forgestars are completely customizable with respect to size and off-sets, so they don't poke unless you want them to. I think bronze looks good on white, black, darker reds, maybe a silver, but not yellow IMO.

The specs they use for the C5 are flush or a tick of poke.
Great thread thanks. Had not seen that one. Here is a picture I took from that thread. 19x11 with +55
305 30 19 is the rear tire I will run. Same in this picture. A tick of poke.

That must be one of the widest 305's. Here's a photo of my car, when it had the oem fenders. Wheels were 19x11's with +54 offset and Hankook 305/30/19's.At most, poke was no more than 1/8".

its funny I have seen some like yours that seem to tuck nice and others that don't. Your car is what I want it to look like .
So let me ask this. Is a Z06 have more room u der the rear than a base model? I look at every car on that thread. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to why some stick out and some don't. The only other factor I can think of that may differ is pad width on the wheels. Most wheels have a 1/2 inch pad. Msybe some have thinker pad. Need to ask some more questions. Maybe I can find a direct # fir forgestar

Makes no difference Z06 vs Base. Alignment settings and tire width perhaps. A 305 from two different brands will not be the same size. "Real" width varies between tire manufacturers.

Maybe the case. Seems hard to believe it could make that much difference in fitment

Looking at the pic the tire looks like an NT05R, and I have a 305/35-19 on my car and can attest that they are indeed VERY wide for a 305 tire.
Color choice is an individual preference, obviously. Personally, I have NO idea why so many people mix up clashing colors on their cars. I suppose it is the OCD in me, but I think "colorful" wheels only look acceptable on cars with neutral paint colors---black, white, silver, or grey. If cars have "colorful" paint---red, blue, green, yellow, gold, etc.---they only look acceptable with neutral wheel colors like silver, grey, polished, brushed, or black. Mixing colors never made sense to me, unless they were absolutely complimentary. Bronze is basically brown and gold. I couldn't ever put that color wheel on anything other than a black or white car. Maybe silver.
If my car was yellow, I would run either a brushed or polished wheel, or a wheel with a gloss black center and polished lip. Especially taking the bright red calipers into consideration, neutral wheels are a must for me...

I have Black wheels on it now, They look fine, But I've always been a little bit outside the box for a build style.
