Hey baby, want a ride? This kind of updates the dated mod
Don't like 'em? They're easily removed.
Keep in mind if you make your own, they're different sizes for the fronts and rears.
For me, it was just easier to use the stimulus check for the decals and a can of red paint saving me $1200

Reason: update
One thing that the wagon wheel has going for it is strength, with no big weight difference from the more common thinner spoke designs that replaced them, one of which , the first replacement design, , is known to crack once in a while.
My used 03 car came with wagon wheels, a situation I looked into since the car certainly didn't come with them . I figured it for no more than a style choice, since the car is black and the wheels are chrome with a big face, a chrome was also not a stock wheel configuration..
However, the car was set up for stock Xcross as the advertisement car for a dedicated corvette shop, so I wonder if wheel flex was a concern when fitting wagon wheels , since the car was to be used in timed contests, and these guys are pros. . I remember once reading in road and track where they had to rework a tire test because wheel flex made the tire comparison timed results unusable. First time I had heard of wheel flex discussed as a performance issue in cars, but makes sense, since wheel flex is a big deal in bikes.
To Michael Clemans who posted above, well that makes at least two of us! I'm still running chromed wagons on my '99. Certainly not the popular look but I like them. I've considered going to newer styles a number of times but in the end the wagons have won out.
Your not alone, I have them on my 98 and like the looks too.
I think I might be the only one left who really like's his wagon wheels. It's unique now, since most C5 owners have gotten rid of theirs. I'll keep mine.
Nah, you’re not alone. I’ve got a set of wagon wheels I store my car (also a 99 navy blue metallic) on in the winter and I will admit to liking them much more on the car than I thought I would.
My car came with cheap thin spoke replicas and I ditched them for the BBS but I have the wagons on and when I look at the car in the garage, I’m like, I really don’t hate this. I’d rock a set of wagons over any of the knockoff C6/C7 wheels that are trendy on this site any day of the week.
