I'd suggest staying away from wireless. They are usually not very good.
In my 04 Z06 I have the VanTop H612T w/direct wire camera. It works great as both front/rear dashcams and it changes to BU camera mode when put into reverse.
Here is a test vid I made (showing only dash cams in 2k mode)

I like your setup. But will it plug and play with any year C5, or just the later models with the Home/garage door opener system, or??? Thank you. Your install looks like a factory install!!

Mine is the updated version of the other post ( https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...lled-pics.html )
As-is it straps over the old mirror. So what I've done is buy an old mirror and this winter I pan to strip off the mirror and its housing. But use the ball / socket and lights to make a cleaner install.
I get tempted every time I see you post this, but I really don't want to mess with more wiring right now. I might have to suck it up and do it sooner than later though lol. It would allow me to keep the Homelink mirror I already have too.
Not sure I understand the benefit of a front cam as well as backup. Can someone explain please.
Corvettes have very long noses. Some people have a hell of a time parking them without hitting the curb or parking stop with the front bumper. Do this enough and it tears stuff up pretty bad.
With a front mount camera you know exactly where to stop every time.
I don't think it's necessary and seems to be more popular with those that are into electronics tech and stereo gear.
Me personally I wanted my car to behave like a newer or new car. I run a pioneer double din and a PCAM 150 camera wired. It performs exceptionally well.

+1 on going wired ... I just added a wired system into my cherokee similar to the above .. I also use a separate video monitor for when I trailer, wireless just doesn't work as well.
I did wireless first but after getting tired of the picture delay and fooling around with it I went wired and never looked back. Front camera is very nice to have to avoid damaging the front especially if you have a chin spoiler and makes it easier to park overall.
I have heard it suggested that you retain the stock mirror and install the added mirror camera down lower on the dash. I'm thinking about it. I'm not sure how the front camera would work that low above the long hood.
I just purchased the Vantop H612T so I will see how it goes.

My extra windshield mirror comes tomorrow. More on the final installation after that.
It seems to me that the stock Corvette mirror, like any mirror, allows you a depth of field so you can focus on objects at a distance behind you.
This camera, or any similar camera, is like a picture in front of you. It has no depth of field. Thus what you see in the camera presentation requires an 18 to 24 inch focus. I've decided that is what confused me a little as I used the camera for the first time.
So this new set up with the Zantop placed lower on the dash and the regular mirror still available will give me the best of both displays.
I will add that this Zantop display was fantastic! Better than my big screen TV. So very, very clear and detailed.
BTW, the wire connections at the top of the mirror became very warm when it was mounted on the regular 2013 GS mirror.
I put a wireless rear view camera as well as a low mounted front camera (below the front fascia, below the fogs) in my car and the wireless worked flawlessly with no delay, and avoided running wires through holes drilled through the rear and into the passenger compartment led up to the screen. Just tap into the backup light for the trigger, easily accessible under the license plate. The front camera was invaluable to avoid running the air dam up over those concrete blocks at parking spaces. I had a switch to change between the two views. The whole system cost me less than $45 from components on the auction site. All of the components inside fit in or under the sides of the front console. Look for my writeup on here from a few years ago.
