Modifying Stock Radio Bezel

I will offer you some unasked for advice, to think carefully before you start cutting up a cars interior.
As you know, repairing cars has two paths, restore as new, or restore as modern. IF you choose modern, it won't be modern forever, so choose carefully, for in time it will be just as obsolete as the original old stuff that came with the car, but will never be as old or valued as the original stuff.
Of course, one has to value old cool machines. For myself, my home stereo is easily worth more than my car, so a stock radio for the car, even the Bose embassasment that someone talked GM into buying, is an acceptable compromise for me.
Of course, with home audio, one can only travel in imagination, but it can be a heck of a ride. I mostly travel to the past, the memory road is alway very inviting .

All my new radio gear is wired and I'm continuing to wait on them...
Just do a google search on C5 double din, there's tons of pictures and stories out there about.
To search corvette forum with google, go to Google, and search on "corvetteforum c5 double din" (without the quotes)
That will search this site, as this search engine is junk.

Picture is kind of blurry but I too went the single DIN back in 2003. Double DINs were kind of rare back then. Thinking about going double DIN but damn, that radio in there already sounds spectacular.
