Brighter Taillight Bulbs?
Hey all,
My newly acquired C5 has a the blackout kit. Not a particular fan but it does add some esthetics and wouldn’t mind keeping it. However not very bright when lights are on for obvious reasons, and here in Jacksonville, FL. more people worry about what’s on their phones than a stopped car in front of them.
Wondered if I could throw in a brighter bulb or if they make an LED option for the taillights rather than the $300 halo system?

I have the euro tail lights and I put led bulbs in. Much brighter and better looking. The bulbs are direct replacements. For quality bulbs go here:

+1 for sharp light innovations. They have great products. George, the owner knows his stuff. Best customer service anywhere. He is also a forum vendor, and an active member of the C5 forum.

They are a good place too. I actually bought some of my lighting from them. Sharp light innovations is where I bought the rest. Both are good

Anyone know if you did hyper flash mod for the front will this take care of the rear also? Or do you need resistor for the back

There is another option if you don't want to pay 50.00 for hyper flash you can make your own for 10.00.

LEDs will make the lights much brighter and fortunately we have several forum vendors that can supply you with the right bulbs for the car.

I just tried mine and no flash. Only solid. It even makes the front not flash
