C5 upgrade on wheels
I want to upgrade my c5 wheels from 18/17 to 19/18 to 19inch in the rear & 18inch in the front I want to knw the guy at the shop said I can do 19×10 in the rear and 18 × 9.5 in the front do you knw if that's a correct fit he was telling me I can put the 19×10 all the way around but I told him I rather stay staggered. My car at the moment has 18×9.5 in the rear and 17×8.5 in the front if the fit he is telling me is correct what size tires should I go with on the upgrade. I don't want the tires sticking out just want a nice look. Thanks if you can help or know if this fit is right cause once I buy them they said I can't return them everything on my c5 is stock it's a 2001 this would be my first upgrade on the wheels.

The offset of the wheels will be a factor too. That depends on the wheels you chose. I'm running 18x8.5 front and 19x10 back. They have 275/35R18 tires on front and 305/35R19 on the rear. I don't have any issues at all with them. If I had to do it over I'd go with a 265 or a 255 on the front though. Others with more tire/wheel knowledge will chim in soon I'm sure.
