Were these rims a option from the factory on 1997 to 2004, just picked up a set this weekend, seller replaced these rims with something different and wanted them gone, chrome finish, I think 2 sizes 18/19, one of them has a 3 inch scrape on the edge of the rim, GM decal stamped inside each rim, included were the lug nuts and caps, I think they will fit on either one of my 96 roadsters but I don't know if I want to do that although I will say it is a good looking rim, he gave them to me in the boxes from his new rims so they are in great shipping boxes, if I decide to sell them I will get them dusted off and get some pictures posted, I just happened to log on to Facebook Market Place last Friday about 10 minutes after they were posted and although I was not looking for new rims I was pretty sure they were worth more then $100.00 so now they are in my garage.

The earlier C5s came with 5 spoke wagon wheel rims. The later ones came with the thin spoke (still 5 spoke). Z06 had their own rims. In all cases the stock rim size was 17' front, and 18" rear. If what you have is 18/19, then they are not stock C5 rims. I believe the C6 came with 18/19, so if they are genuine GM rims, they might be C6 rims. Although there are a lot of replica rims for the C5, so that could also be what you have. If they're in good shape, they are certainly worth more than $100.00. Without pics it's really impossible to tell more.

Also, if they have an actual chrome finish (not a high polished finish) then the chrome was an aftermarket addition even if the wheels are OEM. GM did not offer an actual chrome wheel on the C5 from the factory. Some dealers sent the wheels out and had them chromed and a few vendors offered a chrome wheel exchange program.
Thanks for the info, looks like I need to take a closer look at them and see what info is on the GM stamp and see if there are any other markings on the inside, I will try and get some pictures posted in a day or two, picture of 2, 18" on the left, 17" on the right, What I thought was a GM decal is actually info stamped into the metal, this is where I found the size info and there is other info there like maybe a part number, any other info or thoughts would be most welcome, thanks

Reason: added picture
I agree, they would look very nice however I just have not been able to warm-up to the chrome finish, so it's starting to look like the original sawblades (which I do like) are going to stay on the car.
I always wish I could have saw blades on the c5 .... if they would fit ... but they don't...
nice shiny five spokes ...otherwise. I wish mine would be this nice....but they have multiple clear coat cracks and small corrosion underneath ...

They aren’t chrome. GM never offered factory chrome. They are polished aluminum with a clearcoat.
Could be aftermarket chromed. Or chrome repops. I have chrome thinspokes on my car. OP, if you got those wheels for $25 EACH, please let us know if seller has anything else he's selling!!!!
Here are the original OEM wheels on my 04. These now have 80,000 mile on them. If they are polished .... they must have a clear coat because in all the years that I've been driving this car I've never had to re-polish the wheels just wipe them down with a rag and a little simple green, rinse them off and away we go.
