Understood. I was just kidding around.

Definitely a nice garage space. You will be able to do basically anything you need to do there!!! Congrats.

I think he may have been referring to the sqft lol. I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath that is 1,312 sqft shared by 4 people and 2 dogs. Have more space would ve nice for sure but living in 2,000 sqft for just 2 has to be nice!

A little over 12 feet is a nice height for a lift. I have 13 feet and can get the bottom of the lift rails to well over 6 foot so I can freely walk under the lift without smacking my head.

I thought for a long time about creating an office, and I just couldn't think of any interesting ideas. I wanted to create a comfortable working environment. And this is influenced by the colors of the office, the arrangement of equipment and furniture. I Googled various options, but settled on https://planner5d.com/blog/cSXG/60-living-room-ideas-for-your-home. Out of 60 ideas, I chose the one I liked best. It wasn't an easy decision, though. And your office looks great.

yup :-)
I may just do 1-2 lifts for now, I don't have that many cars to fill it -- plus, I'll likely be doing a 3 car garage attached to the house when we build it.

The guy we bought it from had just finished building the separate garage, never got around to building the house.
The garage is 4 wide by 2 deep, with a 2 bedroom apartment/guest house on the second story. Perfect clean slate begging for some toys :-)

Nice accommodations for a Vette and some motorcycles.

I am sooo jealous of these garages. I will barely have room for a single car in my garage. Planning to store my ordered C8 outdoors with a car cover
I'll keep my tools and workbench in the garage

Don’t be fooled. No matter how much garage you have it is always 6 feet short.

My 24x36 looked so big building it but now I want to expand. I even have second 24x30 on the house.

just the nature of it.

Got that right.
I have a 2-car garage, 20x20 with 8ft ceiling (plus rafters space), and it's arguably too small.. but at least I have a garage! It fits 2 cars, two 2'x4' workbenches, toolbox, tons of tools (power, hand, etc.), countless storage shelves filled with car parts + paint cans + new & old car fluids + normal garage storage stuff, 2 big trash cans, 2 bikes, hydraulic press, engine hoist + stand, lots of scrap wood, a spare refrigerator (temporary), standard ladder + 20ft extension ladder, Quickjacks, and then some. No driveway so that hampers vehicle storage/placement. Would love a 3-car garage with a driveway!

We just finished enclosing a 30x30 carport (w/hvac) and added a 15x30 addition to one side, all open with just one center post. Just a 10' ceiling but so awesome, my wife misses me
