Default Caliper decal question
For those who have painted their calipers, and have the raised letters Corvette on them, did you use a decal or protect the lettering while painting?

Easiest thing to do is paint it, let it dry completely, tape it off, and use a file to get the natural finish back.

I painted my calipers black, and after drying I painted the lettering grey using a paint pen. Been on many years, still looks good.

After I painted mine I got a block with fine sand paper and lightly sanded the lettering.

When I painted mine, I painted over the letters, let the paint dry, then used an exacto knife to carefully scrape the paint off the face of the letters. Turned out great.
