What type of sound would they give an unmodified engine? Someone gave them to me, I doubt I will install them, is there a market for them used?
Many people like the sound, a low throaty sound that is a little quieter than the BB PRT mufflers. I'm sure if you cleaned them up you could sell them on CF, someone is always looking.
I inherited a C5 from my dad, so a friend gave me these. If I ever get the car here to Texas from Arizona I may just try them out. Billy Boat has a good reputation.

Maybe pay to have sandblasted, or sandblast yourself if you can, then Hi-Temp paint or powdercoat them. You may even want to keep them. I was going to buy new, but I looked a bit closer at my 18 year old Flowmasters (made for C5, so C5 specific mufflers), then decided to sandblast them myself. Then I painted them with Hi-Temp flat black paint. They look brand new, so they're back on, probably forever for me.....
I might be interested in them or other used brand. Would like to know what they sound like if anyone recorded this model. I really do not want to spend a fortune on Borla.

Yes, those look like the B&B Route 66 mufflers. I had a set of them on my ‘00 - deeper sound than the OEM mufflers and certainly a much better look. Clean them up and give them a try.
