Well I challenge you to come to western washington and not drive around like a douche (not directed at you) being all danty trying to get your corvette into a gas station driveway threshold lol.
I've been driving cars in and around this area all my life and know just about every nook and cranny there is. Bottom line if you don't drag your corvette on **** it's either the stock height of a 4x4 or you keep it in your garage.
Nothing irritates me more than people with custom cars that have special needs that hold up other motorists.
I put the double wheels on years ago when we moved into our current house. They're basically skateboard wheels, but they really do work. I wish I didn't need them, but I'm glad I have them.
I was always meaning to do something about preserving the front end of my lowered car during it's surprise battles with concrete parking stops, but never did. I always disregarded the wheel solutions offered as perhaps concentrating force in one area, to the detriment of the structure, but was glad to read that actual product experience says my assumptions were not correct.
I always considered the fangs to have the advantage of better impact energy dispersal, but now think the primary attraction for me is that I don't have to drill installation holes., and they don't hang down into my already limited clearances.
By the time I decided to buy some, I was still new enough to the corvette scene to have price objections back then, I couldn't remember who sold them, thanks for the info.

The fangs are pretty popular, and you can do both if you want. I did the wheels on my previous C5, and they worked great. The fangs seem easier to install.
Another fan of the Fangs. I bought the original set that were white and then bought the second production run which were black and less conspicuous. What's nice about the Fangs is that if you do scrape, you can wet sand it down, apply some Armor All or Back to Black and they look as good as new. Thought about getting the rollers at one time but couldn't get the worn down roller skate look out of my head.
$56 shipped for the fangs is pretty steep (Corvette tax). Any way to easily make these from plastic/sheet of ABS material?
Same price in 2010 when I bought my set. I think they have been a pretty good investment at $4.57 per year and at the time a lot less than the roller blade wheels.
I guess you could fabricate something similar yourself using similar material but the Fangs are pre-formed to fit over the lower radiator frame arms are are predrilled, etc.

If that is so, then you got "head problems"
My rollers can hardly be seen unless you crawl under and look...and mine have been on for about 16 years and have made contact a lot with lots of potential damaging things and the hard rubber wheels show no wear...one of the best mods i have done next to the aluminum rocker rails i put on at the same time...

I added the aluminum rocker rails as well with the built in jacking pucks. Those are great and have really helped with parking lot speed bumps over the years. Glad your rollers worked out for you, I just never liked the look. Original white fangs.

The white fangs makes it look like something is missing...black would be ok though...

Yep, swapped them out for the black fangs and gave the white fangs to a friend who had a Speedway White Z06 who didn't mind the color. He had installed an aftermarket splitter that also hid them. He later traded it in for a C6 Grand Sport and still regrets the day he let it go.
