Thank you so much for these! Is the first photo a measurement of the bolt on the left rail to the bolt on the right rail? Or from the left or right side of the left rail? The C8 seat measurements are perfect! Looks like they are the same to maybe a half inch larger, but that should certainly fit!

I appreciate your contribution to the project!

The seats just arrived and man these things are comfortable. I'll upload some photos of the seats themselves and the wiring underneath and the rails.

looking great! When will you get a chance to test fit them in the car? I'd love to see some shots of that.

I actually hit a wild hog with the car back in December. I'm currently waiting for the collision shop to be done. They're waiting on the sharper innovation headlights. They do excellent work. The car is going to look new the way they painted it.

haha! Nice try. I'll be keeping a close eye on them until they go in the car. I fit in the seats really well. I'm really hoping they're a great fit in the car

Yeah the competition seats are nice. I have GT2 which is the same back just a little less *** bolster. I used them at spring mountain and might do them for my Z06. I never realized how bad the C5 seats were until I got my C8. The C6 wasn't much of an improvement in seat or steering wheel. The C7 is better, but the C8 is on a different level with the interior quality. It's what we all have wanted for a long time. You look at some of the leather and stitching additions to the C5 as wheel as seat and steering wheel upgrades this car could have been world class inside and out if GM had put about 1500 extra bucks into each one from the factory. I can't wait to see these installed.

with the interior redone with the seats and new headunit, the interior will be much better. It is disappointing to see what the interior is like, when for only around $10,000 at msrp the C8 is so nice inside. And that's not even adjusting for 20 years of inflation.

Hope everything works out well for you with the new seats - they do look great and you got one heck of a deal.

C5z is back in my hands! Right now I will likely test fit the passenger seat first. I may need to get help with the wiring on this one. I'll be getting a quote to see if their installation is cost prohibitive. One reason is I need them wired without damaging the seats if I want to resell them. But I will certainly test fit them first!

The c7 seats only use 3 wires for basic power so these should be similar. Telescopic steering function should come later with Gary's help.

This is how the c5-c7 harness that I made looks:

C5 side:
2 wires into 3 wires. The white wire is spliced into the red so both are power.

C7 side: 3wires

Take a pic of the female c8 seat harness under the seat and post it here plz

Next time in home I'll snap a photo of the connector for you. I only need the power seats to work and then hopefully heated seats. I don't think these seats cool and I do not have telescopic steering. Thanks for the info on wiring. That will be my biggest challenge.
