You are really going to enjoy them. Great gear, I love them. Even more so if you have a cam that starts making power higher in the RPM range.

Depending on your rwhp/rwtq your G2s should be just fine. Especially if you don't treat the throttle like an on/off switch. I ran 4.10s for many years with 418rwhp and 428rwhp with NT555s. They hooked just fine until they aged out and got hard.

Agreed. I'm doing the same thing. 4.10s. Had them in my 96 Z/28. Bought that one brand new as well as an 87 Notch Mustang 5.0. I've had a good run.

Going to a stage 3 cam as soon as it comes in. That will work nicely w/ the 4.10s. Even with the 4.10s your final drive ratio is even more of a granny gear than any car. 4.10 X .52 = 2.132 Final Drive Ratio. 6th gear will not be for nothing anymore!

Each gear selection will make more sense all the sudden. Absolutely a game changer. Enjoy!

I’m running a btr stage 3 car made 425 when I had it on the dyno that cam is horrible below 1500 but pulls like a train to 7k

Your car with the BTR Stage 3 is going to love the 4.10 gear. My cam is 232/236/113 and it loves the gear. That hunting you have to do with throttle and clutch manipulation at low speed/parking lot driving will go away. Powerband will come on much sooner and not drag before you hit 1500.

Another nice benefit, that exhaust drone you get at cruising speed in 6th gear will go away. The 4.10 gear raises RPM just enough to get you outside of the drone zone in 6th cruising 75/80mph.

It's very fun. 1st is comically short, almost useless. If I had to do it again I'd consider 3.73 or 3.9. Highway rpm's are a lot higher too, costs some gas mpg. The 22-23 I get on the highway isn't bad for a built 427 running 4.1's. I miss the 29-31mpg of my previous Vette with a 402 and 3.42 gearing on road trips.

I debated going big cubes but I think I’m going to save and supercharge it

Nice choice. It will be even more subdued at cruising speed low RPMs with the 4.10s.

I'm looking forward to your update once you have the gears installed. One more believer to add to the pile.

The only bad thing about a new dif is the break in period.
