It has a volume **** and it sounds better than stock with the stock speakers.
The install was super easy, I took advantage of the wire harness hookup that crutchfield offers for 24.00 and it was just plug and play.
Yes It looks like an afterthought but I don't care, if I want I can put the car back to stock in an hour.
hey! Is your model also the 7” or is that the 9” or 10”? Can you show a photo of how it sits when raised fully and lowered fully?
im contemplating getting the 10” and just lowering it all the way…and hope it doesn’t block the main AC vent.
These are becoming popular now, Crutchfield has a few different models. I forgot what the name of it is, however the idea is to increase screen size notably having the screen offset, instead of flush. Personally I prefer the flush DD ones, like I have.
There is no way in my opinion that the Boss unit does not block the driver's view of the HVAC controls in a normal driver sitting position.
Does anyone have a picture from the driver's sitting angle aiming at the HVAC unit ?
