I noticed that my C5 Vet does not have the 12 disc CD changer in the back of the Vet. I was going to use that as the "AUX" conversion kit from a video on YT. Is there something else I can do to achieve this?
I don't want to get rid of the stock radio. Oddly, I like it. I just picked it up!
IIRC, if your radio has a CD in it, then the cable for the CD changer in the rear is run into the passenger footwell.
I did the same thing back in the day.. like... 20 years ago... I remember just fishing out the connector from under the passenger footwell, connecting a PAC adapter, and that was that.
So I have a CD inside of the CD player, it's the base radio without the 12 disc. It says on the radip physically "CD/AUX" by the time. So i'm confused to where the AUX cord actually is?

I'm going completely from memory here, but I had the same thing, and if I remember correctly, the wire for the remote changer *should* be under the passenger footwell under the access panel. Back in the day when you wanted to add a changer, you'd get an extension, plug it into that plug, and run it to the rear. But you can AUX adapter directly into that.
