I would rather have a dark charcoal fabric with improved plastic guts and LED lights than OEM black with cardboard guts and halogen bulbs.

It would be nice if the replacement Visors for the C5, were a nicer fabric for starters
Like a Nylon/Gortex type body that will be more durable for a Convertible and a better quality stitching more suited to C5 level workmanship
Another issue is the skeleton material. Is it still factory pressboard?

Black Convertible Top Conditioner. It’s like a fabric dye and it has UV protectants that’s extremely color safe

No. Amazon and China can eat a collective bag of dicks. I am 100% NOT "fixing" something brand new that's manufactured incorrectly. I'll keep ordering over and over and returning over and over at their until they actually ship the item as described.

If that’s the case maybe consider having an auto upholstery shop with lots of recommendations build you a set

Happy with the new trash that is better than the old trash. Good luck finding your holy grail of sun visors for a 26 year-old GM mass-produced car.

Holy Grail for me would be a thicker but slightly flexible Nylon frame with a higher quality Alcantara or Gortex body with quality stitching

Best chance would be to take these dark charcoal visors with the improved plastic guts to a custom auto upholster and they could then refinish with higher quality exterior material.

Don't know what I have. Bought 10 months ago from a dude in Lapeer, Michigan. $75.00, never installed, and still in plastic, and in the box. Seem much stiffer than OEM, are pitch black, and have LED lights for the mirrors. Guy said his friend bought them for his C5, but sold the car. They arent the easiest things to R&R on a C5, but they're not bad. Corvette tax SUCKS. I will say C&S has helped me on many vids they've done. 100% markup does suck, though. The ones I bought sure look like what C&S is selling. Anyway, they block the sun, are reasonably finished, and don't flop around. Works for me.

same here, not going to a pristine car show, they block the sun and do the job and don t flop around.
