Received wheels yesterday, fast shipping. Wheels look good and chrome looks great. Installer said they balance out with little weight. Time will tell how well they hold up, but a great upgrade for now.
Love the look, particularly the amount of open space between the spokes. Well done!
Yellow2007 I think the thin spokes look great also. I had the stock bronze magnesium wheels on it but thought the chrome would look good with the magnetic red color. I just wanted something that looked a little more modern. Hope you enjoy your new wheels also. I have the center cover decals coming also. Bob
"C5 Reproduction wheels"... There must be a way for one to determine if these reproduction wheel makers are good or bad!... Or.... Is it a crap shoot?... I want to hear from a good, legitimate, engineered wheel company... and not Joe's Wheel shop from Majorcaorca, Spain! 🤨
I bought a set of wheels for my '98 from Cray. They make wheels specifically for Corvettes.
Ahhh. The ones I had were 18s in the front and 19s in the rear. I think they just make them in stock sizes now.
Yes, these only come in 17/18’s, but they are wider than stock. I don’t think I’d bother with the expense of new(er) wheels and not go 18/19 and have room for larger brakes.
Really have my heart set on the C6 anniversary Starfish wheels.
I like those wheels but cleaning them has got to be a bitch.........give me my 5 spokes anytime......
Goodness... Twenth (20) little bitty pockets to get my gargantuan fingers into plus a wash cloth times 4 wheels equals 80 times to wash each little bitty wheel crevice once a week for 52 weeks is 416 little bitty pockets a year! 😟🫤😩
