There's tons of threads on here (search) for traditional solutions but I like mine. Ditched the HU entirely, blocked it off. Ran a Bluetooth adapter to a 5 channel amp and replaced all the speakers, added a sub. Got a good phone mount. Now I have music, nav etc and it's always updated. clean and simple and not $$$. Good luck finding a solution you like.
Not sure if you’re an electrician or a do it yourself. I went the Best Buy route. They do free installs if you buy everything from them. Mine turned out great, the gentleman that did mine had 25 years experience.
