I did the relocation and the gauge, and there is a difference in oil pressure reading from the cluster to the gauge under the hood.

The kit on Amazon is over $100, you can make one without a gauge for less than $50 with far better components.
Here's the Buick model, some ideas for a remote sensor setup, and some parts sources. Note that the Buick sensor has a different thread pattern than the Chevy sensor.
The thread in the engine block is 16mm x 1.5. The fitting for the block in the chart below, converts to -8 AN to connect from there on.
