First is a correction.... purhaps the only correction that is a must. Installing C6 sway bars and links will snug-up and rid that slight sway on eye 5 over the Syskiu mountains.... You'll feel it in your loins!

I have to add to my list as others have said, if you're planning on driving at night or maybe even being caught out after dark revise the headlights. If you don't drive it at night you should, a proper C5 looks amazing under the night lights.

Skipped ahead, sorry. Didn't read the above as I have a fritatta going in the oven.
First mod: Safety / Solidity / Preventive Maintenance ..... fluid flushes all around, tires if they're old or worn, solve any leaks, check the balancer for wobble, etc.
Performance:
Supercharger + Tune.... then just add other stuff to support it as you go
Such as:
Clutch / fw / master when they're needed
Upgraded components for the OE brakes
etc etc
My faves? A good shifter, coilovers w/ Z06 bars and new end links, A4 seats, supercharger, muffler of preference.
