You might want to become a member of AAA and go with Premier member you get 200 miles free towing.

I just carry a small compressor and a plug kit.
Even if you get a nail or screw it will leak so slow the compressor will get you home or a shop.
We don’t get flats like we used to. The tires are stronger and the steel belts hold in the puncturing item most times.
Back in the Bias days I would hear stories a flat or two a year.

Although suggestions above about tow service with AAA or your insurance company and a tire plug repair kit with compressor and fix-a-flat are most popular and the avenue I've chosen myself...no one above with the exception of vetteman Jack answered the question you asked. Besides the "GTO spare" others are using the "Modern Spare" which is essentially a GTO spare.

I do not pack a spare tire. I have free flat bed towing and my credit card if there is a need. BTW.. I also have REMOVED the spare tire from my C3. One might call me a idiot or over confident but I'm comfortable with it.
