Awesome ! Do you have an extender or boot collar ?
I was on the fence between the Contour and the Ashiko. I may try the Ashiko someday, it is heavier than the Contour and has a wider surface.

I have a trimmed/cut Z06 shifter. Ended up pretty perfect without anything extra. but it looks like you're in a C6?

coming back to say that I love my **** too. these cars need it and even more the shorter the overall height of your shaft. The difference in weight acts much like the antivenom mod in smoothing out the notchy nature of these gearboxes, highly recommend one of these heavier ***** if a notchy shift still bothers you.

Matte White is the only choice at this time. I may have chosen Black if it was available, but i see nothing bizarre about the matte white. Once upon a time, the majority of all manual shifter shift ***** were all white.

Really want to know what these companies make the weighted ***** from and charge $100+...

The Signa-Ture that I have from Raceseng is 1.05 lbs of 303 Stainless Steel (Core) + Delrin (Cover) + 6061 Aluminum (Adapter)

When I made my purchase the item was on clearance sale. Below is the cost breakdown. Absolutely worth what I paid for it.

I know it's an old thread, but it came up in my search since I was looking for a new shift ****. Looks like they are done.

Well, now that it's here - I use a **** from WC Lathe Werks. It's about a pound - 465G. I love it, and I am most happy that it was made to fit MGW **** threads.

It wasn't cheap, and the lead time was pretty long - but its more than worth it!

here’s a couple pics. It does change hues in the light from a mostly silver to a light yellow/brown. Very cool ****

That's interesting. Also not surprising. Their products seemed to be very much overpriced and the styles.... most were not appealing.

My favorite ***** right now are from Alex McMahon who can be found on fb. He sells an ellipse design which works as a ball shifter OR a contoured pistol grip type. Fits my mits just fine and is available in aluminum or steel and in several finish types. I have one of each type, yet to decide a preference. His work and his customer support are honestly some of the best to be had for Corvettes and I am really surprised his products have not picked up traction. Perhaps because he is working on C5s and C6s primarily and the money has moved on to the 7s and 8s. I have one of his brake master reservoir covers as well. I typically am not interested in these types of products for the engine bay but his work was so good I had to do it.

These mount down the the base of the threaded shaft. He has spacers for it as well and an adapter for the leather boot. You can see the size is comparable to the MGW ripper and how the contoured sides work.

Probably closed because less and less new cars are available with a manual.
I got one of the Raceseng *****, powder coated red, one of the heavier versions, a longer cylinder style, and really like it. The red goes well with my Mod Red interior, and the weight does actual improve shifting, used on an MGW.

The weighted shift **** provides a better fulcrum than a light non-weighted shift ****, it is personal preference.
