If you want a weighted shift **** that actually has weight to it then buy a Raceseng product. I purchased their Signa-Ture weighted **** (no longer in production) and it's heavy as hell at 1.05lbs. It is great quality and very nicley finished.

Their Stratos **** with Alcantara wrap is really nice as well. And weighs 0.9 lbs. I may grab one of those soon myself.

What constitutes a "weighted" ****??

Anything heavier than stock?

I was shocked with just how heavy the Raceseng pieces are and how nicely made they are. And they are very high quality. They aren't cheap but nothing is these days.

Check out the Alcantara wrapped Stratos. It's pretty sweet.

I swap back and forth between the Signa i have and the C6 ****. I'm still a big fan of the C6 ****. I added some lead split sinkers under the shift pattern cap on the C6 **** for some added weight. Did it do anything for shift feel? Not really. The heavier **** seemed to make more of a difference in shift feel with my B&M shifter vs. my MGW. The MGW is so tight the **** weight didn't make much of a change. Just FYI.

are you also using the Raceseng shift boot collar/retainer TA or extension ?
The shift boot collar looks it cleanly secures the boot to the shift ****.

I skipped the retainer. My boot marries up pretty well to the bottom of the **** without needing it.

The twisted shifter ***** weigh hardly nothing. That's what I'm using now and the look of it is very nice but nowhere near the weight I'd want.

Yeah, they aren't cheap. But they are also a masterpiece compared to all the other junk out there. Plus by the time you add up the $60 here, $30 there and $60 here for the cheap ***** you've accumulated and didnt like...buying one good one really nice one isnt so expensive.

And some of us are really dumb about this car enthusiasts thing. We want what we want and we're fortunate enough to have disposable funds. Heck, I've blown more money in go-fast parts than most have into the entire purchase of their C5. The shift **** is barely a rounding error.
