I'll help out Herr Capt on this (as long as he will send me plane tickets to get to Oktoberfest ins Munchen next year) ;)

The Airbridge and the Blackwing are from two different companies and do not (that I have seen) come as a set. The Blackwing is readily available from a number of supporting vendors (shop for a good price) The Halltech airbridge is made by Halltech, a supporting vendor and is available from them (for sure) and probably a number of other vendors. Go through some of the tuners in the left column and I am sure you will find more than one choice/price. I don't have an airbridge yet but a$ $oon as I can I will.

Enjoy

No problem, but I have missed October Fest for the past 3 years due to training, and it's looking like I'll spend this Oct in the sand box north of Kuwait! I wouldn't spend the money on any carbon fiber airbridge unless you want the kool factor. That is the only reason I got the Halltech system, it's just damn cool looking. Most of these cold air intake systems make about the same horse power, and remember RAM AIR is not real, air is not compressable at any speed a car travels. The black wing and a nice looking plastic air bridge is the best way to spend your money, I think.
Now remember this, a high perf. airfilter probably lets in some more dirt, your DIC does not know this it thinks you still have the paper filter with the box covering it!!!! So you may want to change your oil or filter a little sooner than normal, just to be on the safe side. I don't because I will probably keep this car forever and I'm looking forward to the day I do a total engine rebuild :)

Congrats! Nice car in the right color. The TR's are the fastest, too.

Intakes: The Vortec and Vararam seem to be popular these days.

Enjoy!

Congratulations and welcome!

Maybe we could start a 2002 Torch Red Z06 forum.

Joe
I'd join if and when mine comes in (ordered 2/1/03) red/red/black :steering:

Welcome and congrats on your new toy. I still find it hard to believe that a $70 K&N inside a opened box or zip tied to the base will make less HP than the expensive after market filters.
