Well despite all my problems I love the sound of the Borla Atak on my C5Z
I did not like the sound that the X made. Even though it reduced the motor boat burble it raised the pitch of the exhaust note and created some resonance at 2500 rpm
Therefore I refitted the H and as I have said my H section is welded into the main pipes and the holes cut FULL diameter.
My Z was built May ‘01 so maybe the early years got the better setup.
I also have no jingle noises either.
That eBay pipe kmartinka has posted looks like a great substitute

I am considering the H-pipe from eBay but again worried about fitment for that and the Borla exhaust would be good together. I am not sure if having a larger crossover pipe(like the what weslp00 has) has any benefit at all.
