JMO, but I think red seats with a dark blue exterior would look killer.

There were likely less than 10 Corvette units sprayed Navy Blue for the 1998 model-year. None of those 1998s had red interior, which would have been Firethorn Red, a darker red interior color.
Retail production of Navy Blue began in model-year 1999. No coupes had Firethorn Red interiors, but one convertible did.
For model-year 2000, 4 Navy coupes had the new Torch Red color interior, and 6 Navy convertibles had T Red interiors.
For MY 2001, 5 Navy coupes with T Red, 8 Navy convertibles.
For MY 2002, Navy was replaced by Electron Blue. 12 Electron coupes with T Red, and 27 Electron with T Red convertibles. Why the increase? Because the 2002 Electron Blue was available as a Z06 and the Z06 could get the Black/Red interior. For 2002 there were 222 Electron Z06 with T Red interior.
2003 was Electron, then 2004 went to LeMans Blue and there were no Red interiors with LeMans Blue.
So.........there are a few Navy with T Red C5s out there, but very few.
I got all that data from a book: All 1997-2004 Corvette colors Codes and Quantities. Best C5 data book you can find. Blows away the Corvette Black Book. Link:

From my research, only 14 Navy Blue Corvettes were produced in 1998; 12 coupes and 2 convertibles.
I'm not trying to build a clone, just a C5 vert not seen everyday.

I don't think I've seen the blue from 2001 with a red interior before, but I remember coming across a C5 convertible in electron blue with the torch red interior and a white top. I thought it looked pretty cool except I hate white tops on convertibles unless the car itself is white.

I don't think I've seen the blue from 2001 with a red interior before, but I remember coming across a C5 convertible in electron blue with the torch red interior and a white top. I thought it looked pretty cool except I hate white tops on convertibles unless the car itself is white.
Here's a TR/TR convertible that gave me the idea of switching out my Lt Oak top for a Navy Blue unit.
