I've seen a very small number of C5's with Torch Red interiors, mostly Torch Red or White exteriors. Since Red interiors have always been my favorite, my question is did GM ever offer a Red interior with a Navy Blue Metallic exterior? My vert's current interior is Black & Light Oak, with Black C7Z seats. Plan was to change all the Lt Oak parts to Black but I have a chance to trade my Black C7 seats + cash, for some Red units. That would also be a good time to replace the carpet with either Black or Red material.
Don't recall seeing any blue C5's with red interiors, but later cars could be ordered that way, but you had to pay extra for the non GM approved color combo.

Thanks, I've never seen one, either. A friend of mine bought a new 1996 Grand Sport, with TR interior, and I always thought that was a gorgeous combination.
Black or dark interior in a vert is a problem if you live in the south and leave the top down. I searched for a while for both my C5's to find oak or light gray interior. I learned the hard way previously having an MX5 Miata with black leather seats. After a few burns I added cloth seat covers. Just sayin. Good luck!
I don't know if this would help you or not, but here is most of the information I had dug up for part numbers on C7 Comp seats when I was hunting.
It looks like there are two different reds or leathers there, but they are all Adrenaline red. I was just listing information given on whichever site I was pulling the numbers from. I basically war dialed the part numbers to find them all.
So the swap may be worthwhile, or maybe you would prefer to reskin the seats you own.
But wait.... these are for COMP seats, I apologize. Different from base C7s unless you own Comps like mine. Sorry. I'll still post the excel info if it helps anyone else.
More food for thought as I went back through my saved research photos. The red does POP. I'll attach some comparison photos. If you go buying or swapping for C7 Comps, remember that the best way to visually identify actual oem Comps is that the seat base has 4 panels which the non-comp seat bases have 3. Many will convert the seatback only to Comp spec and try selling the entire seat or pair of seats as Comps when they are only Comp modded. (All the red seats shown below are Modded seat backs only. The brown Kalahari seats show the correct 4-panel seat bottom.)
I am fully in love with my black on black set. Very clean to me as I do not like most contrast stitching. However, I feel the electron blue with black interior Z06 across in the garage would look AMAZING with Kalahari colored seats. Perhaps a future project!
I think the Torch Red seats would look good with Navy Blue. The only thing I would be concerned about is how they're going to look with your tan top. Just my .02.

Thanks, I think so, too. Not sure about going with Red carpet though as that might be very hard to find. Black carpet is probably the preference, right now.
The Lt Oak top is gone, replaced with a new Navy Blue unit, earlier this year.

Brett, the seats I'm considering are Base units, not the Comps. Paying $4K for a pair of seats is too rich for my blood.
Here's kind of what I'm shooting for, initially.

I thought you had changed the color of the top but I was going by your avatar. In that case I think the red seats would look awesome! My suggestion would be black carpet. Red will get dirty fast. Ask me how I know.....

Two of my ZR-1's had red interiors so I know all abour red carpet. Even if I don't get the red C7 seats, I think i'm going to go with black carpet and dye all the oak pieces black, as well.

Do the seats, everyone who does is super happy with them.
I want a set for my car one of these days.

Why are you quoting C7 seats -- the OP has a C5. I don't think those seats are interchangeable.
