I never went very far researching it, I just kept the module and harness to keep mine working.
Try a search of the C5 forum for "seat memory" or maybe someone will chime in.

any use for the passenger side harness and module?

As I recall, there wasn't one on mine, just the connections for the power seat motors.

thanks for the info. Got the harnesses and module out before selling the seats this morning. Have the driver module plugged back in and everything is working. Where did you run all the wiring once the new seats were installed?

I agree, the C7 seats were worth every penny. I found a pair of mint C7 ZR1 seats locally so I'll probably sell mine and purchase those.

ZR1 seats are the same as Stingray seats, unless you are talking about comp seats.
That would be the only reason to swap.

C7 seat COVERS are mostly still available in suede for about 140 bottom, up to 300 upper.

Pulled the trigger on the suede a4s. They just arrived and it looks like the branding on the headrest has moved. Looks much better in my opinion. Can’t wait to get them installed this weekend.
