If anyone wants Black C7 Comp seats, a set just came up. Won't be here for long! Drivable from me if you needed someone to look or to house them for alternate pickup - which I doubt.

Obviously, there are. A friend just sold a pair of C8 Comp seats, for $5500. Only a few pairs have come on the market.
As rare as C7 Comp seats are, ZR1 seats are even more so.
Looking at them both for C7, the Comp and "ZR-1" are identical if the google/forum answer is correct.
Hen's teeth is the term with them in either case.
Support better than A4s, more comfortable, fully electrical adjustable base to find the perfect fit and angle, and not that it means much but heat and a pair of vent fans as well. But yes, these seats go for 2500 to 5500 even damaged. Base C7s remain the best balance for the buck, just not as much lateral support when you get aggressive. $3250 is an entirely normal price for C7 Comps in 2025. Mine are even cleaner than this. Take-offs from a car being upgraded for track-only spec instead of from a wreck.
Ha! No freaking way!
There's not a pair of seats in the world worth $3250!!!
$3k for a pair of c7 seats is absolutely worth it.
I paid far more for mine, and that was before I had them stripped, new pads, and custom leather w/ custom stitching added.
There is no factory part number. There is a company which sells them though for $114 (each or pair I don't know) in basic version and they sell upgrades for them such as 65 to include the seat memory on the driver seat etc so they add up quickly and get expensive.

the vetteworks adapter -- at least the last time I checked -- leaves your telescoping steering wheel disabled. Dan started working on it at one point, sold me a unit that didn't work (which took 6 months to get), and then said in an email that he had other things to focus on.
you really don't need the adapter. It's three wires, and if you have telescoping steering, reuse the factory harness (for whatever reason, the simple relay circuit for enabling telescoping steering was in the SCM, seat control module.)
i wired the 3 wires on both seats, everything except seat memory and telescoping works find.
i ordered from Vettenuts 2 months ago just wanted everything to look neater

if you want telescoping steering to work, it's trivial, you can re-use the seat control module from the c5, or you can build a simply circuit with two relays -- I did the latter, and it's a pain. The former takes like 10 minutes.
I just bought a set of C7 seats and paid $1,250. I thought I got a decent deal. 🧐
After doing the research on wiring them up, I just decided to splice into the wiring with a T Connector and a two pin harness. It would be great to have a proper harness, but it’s something I won’t see and the money is too much.

it's not hard to do the harness yourself. here's what I did, the "circuit" (two relays) for the telescoping steering is in the black plastic hobby box, but you can accomplish the same thing using the c5 harness
Installed 2017, Z06 seats in my 2001 C5 convertible.
no cutting required used my C5 seatbelts Drivers side all I did was break off the metal tab Pass side, same only broke off metal tab

love the seats!
though really does look like the sides and airbag covers are hitting the plastic trim -- funny that it was hitting so bad on my car I lost about an inch of back travel.
