But...the seats are the same, leather, bolstering, adjustability, etc.
Guy I got my seats from claimed they were from a Z06, but they are base 1LZ/1LT, no Z06 badging.
No matter, my car isn't a Z06 anyway.

interesting .. Did you modify the c7 seats at all?
it's not even close for most people. either the trim must have changed or the seats changed somewhat.
On my car the bottom seatbelt retractor literally stopped the seat mechanism about 2-3 inches from going full back by rubbing against the airbag enclosure on the seat (or maybe the plastic trim on the seat bottom, I forget, it was over a year ago for me). The c6 seatbelt swap was a 15 minute job and and a piece of cake though.

I forget. What are the buckle dimensional differences if any between 5s and 6s? I know the 7 recepticle is narrowee than the buckle on the 5s. That's all I have in my head though and I don't want to grind the buckle.

IIRC, before I took out the 15 minutes to swap in c6 seatbelts, I had to grind the buckle a little on the c6 belt to make it fit the c5 receptacle. It was a bit too wide.. it fit, but would not "click". then I just decided wasn't worth it so replace both the belt and the receptacle.

All you have to do to make the C5 belt buckle in to the C7 receiver is make the slot in the red plastic release button in the C7 receiver slightly longer.
Works perfectly on my car.

The price is up for debate of course since these are in Comp price range, but Eric himself is a GREAT seller who I can readily vouch for.

The price on those is pretty high, for sure. Mint red seats are very desirable, though.
