If quality counts, andy's partition is well worth it.

ZIP Products sells one and it works and looks GREAT!! Installs and removes in about 30 seconds! It is an interfearence fit and does NOT require ANY mods or installation stuff i.e. velcro or tape!

Made a HUGE difference in sound quality of the stereo and cut down on the noise from the rear! Makes cooling and heating work very quickly too! :D

Hey Shylor and z06chick, you better be careful about voicing any opinion other than the one dictated to you by savewave and the rest of the group here.

I mentioned that "other guy" and promptly received several brow-beating emails from savewave explaining how bad a person I was and I didn't adhere to their little code. So anyway, good luck with the 4th reich..... :lolg:

Huh?

Point is, we all know that Andy's partition was the best. Because he is not a supporting vendor here, I got a crappy email from the goobs that run this place. Basically, they were slapping my hand about endorsing a non-supporting vendor.

There are several of you that are endorsing Andy's partition and I was trying to be sarcastic in my warning to you all. Obviously, I failed so, never mind and let' get back to our regularly scheduled program!! :yesnod: :yesnod: :skep: :skep:

I made mine for $12 in parts, I went to Home Depot, bought a 4x8 piece of 1" garage door insulation, then I made a cardboard cutout of the are where it fits, then I cut it, covered it with black carpet from Home Depot, $1.99 yd. and I used velcro to hold it down...

It works great, it doesn't move around unless you pack something heavy in the back, in that case it crashes against the partition and dislodges it, but I had happen only once.
