What do your feed your Corvette? *POLL*
I would like to thank you all for participating in my polls. I enjoy making them and I feel that the results are quite interesting. I have decided to create a new poll which should be of great interest. Let us see what our members are feeding our Corvettes out there. We all know we probably use the highest octane available, but let us see which specific brands of gas we all use. All Corvette drivers are welcome to participate. I know this is the Z06 forum, but we are all friends here so please cast your vote! Also, please share any "gas" stories with us, and I don't mean "Sharting" stories (you Along Came Polly movie fans know what I am talking about, LOL) Thanks for participating!!!!!
Thanks again to those that appreciate me here. I can see from all of this banter here on my last poll there are SEVERAL that are still voting on which gas they feed their vette, which means there is a big interest in this topic. I am going to end this now by saying that if people here don't like my polls so be it. I am sure there are some that don't like Beavis and Butthead cartoons put up in a Z06 forum. Personally I do not mind, but if that is what you want to do, go for it!!!!!!!!! Heck I put up a picture of Ponch and John from Chips!!!!! I really don't think the majority of the people care that polls are put up. I will try to keep them at a minimum but if it helps simplify the thread I will put them up.
Oh, to those that like to add Moron, Idiot, Loser, and other names in the polls that is your opinion, but why not have the guts to IM or e-mail me? This is a pretty cowardly way of handling an objection to what I am doing here. What are you afraid of?

I agree, please do not leave the forum. You own a Z06 so I consider you to be a very valuable member. Just keep the polls to an absolute minimum. :D

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Don't leave. You're right....many of the answers are interesting. I always click on one of your polls just to see what you're up too. AND, your Z06 adventures are ;) unique! I think we all know your name.......for those who are annoyed by your polls or your little snippets, all they have to do is not click on the fricken topic :banghead: There are a few people that I can always count on to have a wise butt answer to every topic.....do I complain & tell them to get lost.........no....this is America.......you have a right to say what you want. I haven't seen you insult anybody or :nono: swear, so what's the problem :confused: Stick around & have a few more polls. I'm sure that most everybody would like for you to stick around and post. It would be :nono: for you to leave.

It appears that many are annoyed with these polls and/or me so I will no longer bother you with my polls or my appearance here. To make a whole thread about this is absurd. I saw no harm in trying to facilitate discussion here. You could have simply e-mailed me with your concerns. I think I will just enjoy my Z06 and wish you all the best with your Corvettes!

Hey BlackVette no need to leave the forum you are a fellow Vette owner. I vote in all your poles and IMO it really doesn't matter what I think about your polls. As far as all the other members they are entitled to their own opinions. As they say there's an butt for every seat. :D :grouphug:

Hmmm ... I admit I don't have much use for all your polls, but that is an easy fix, I just don't open them. Actually I have been more concerned that when you have had technical problems with your car, and we provide suggestions, the thread dies - especially when we ask where you live, where you bought the car, who did the tuning etc. I admit I have considered that you might not even own a Z06, but come here for the "company."
In any event all of this doesn't really matter. You are respectful on this forum, you avoid flames, and you shouldn't IMO leave. Fewer polls? Yes, that would be better in my book. More follow-up when asked questions - yes, especially if you continue to want help. But by all means stay, even if you don't change a darn thing.

I use Chevron, as the Techron in their fuel rocks. Gas with high sulpher content (yellow gas) like Shell, Quick Trip and (I believe) Texaco play havoc with the fuel level sensor in these cars. If I run a few tanks of Shell the gas gauge gets very unstable - one tank of Chevron clears the problem.
