Re: x pipe (DsC5)
I bought mine from LAPD. Here's the link:

I love the sound and according to the DYNO, I got an additional 7 HP.
I talked to Shawn.
Now if I can just find me a good set of mufflers.
Good luck.

7rwhp with the only change being the xpipe? That is pretty good. Isnt it? I'm really debating getting a magnaflow Xpipe myself, this is good news.
Were the conditions between the different dynos similar?

Re: x pipe (stngh8r)
We did a baseline DYNO and then another one immediately after the X-pipe install. I LOVE the way it sounds. The exhaust *jingle* was killing me.
The extra HP was just a bonus. Now, on to new mufflers. I can't stand the fact that the stock quad tips are not even. Anyone out there have an suggestions on which ones I should get~? Good luck and keep us informed.

Re: x pipe (sliderhss)
Does the stock muffler system flow enough to take advantage of a higher flowing XPipe?

Got mine here:

Get a local shop to cut it in for you.
I don't own a Z06 though so not sure if it will work with titanium.

Re: x pipe (Brian)
the stock h-pipe is stainless steel, the only part of the exhaust on a stock z06 that is titanium is the cat backs [aka mufflers and pipes going out the back with stainless steel tips...]

Does adding an XPipe to the existing Titanium exhaust system make the exhaust note louder?

Re: x pipe (sliderhss)
i dont know from eXperience, but from what i understand, it will make it quieter. Which is the reason alot of people with cat back systems get Xs.
