Its the rims that are getting chipped....some minor scratches I can buff out, but others I can't...and my panels also are getting chipped, but I guess I have to live with that....I tried to compound some out and it did take out a few....but like one other post said, its those 19 inch tires that throw up the debis on all four wheels....I am thinking of going to my local body shop and having them buff them out
Well, theres lots of chrome polish out there, but CCW's are polished wheels, with no clearcoat.....not chrome, so you have to be careful what you apply to them...A lot of people seem to wax them first but wax wont get out the scratches or discoloration..... and personally I dont see a lot of usefullness for the wax, except to shine them up a bit...I use something called wheel wax, but to remove scratches, you need a polish. I found this polish at a wheel store here in FT Lauderdale, like I said earlier, its like brillo, but softer and you rub it on, fairly hard and the wipe it off....its like polishing silver....the tarnish gets all over the place...black flake like particles.....it takes some time, but it does work...I will post the name of the product later today

Here in Berlin they put down a ton of rocks during the winter. I had the same problem, so I installed mud flaps on my car and stopped the problem. The mud flaps are GM's and they don't look bad. I have an Electron Blue Z06.
I talked to a Chevy parts guy today, and he said GM only offers a flat generic mudflap for our cars. Actually for any car...one size fits all!!! I was hoping to get something that was moulded specifically to the contours of a Vette....sort of like those available for most Japanese cars from the Japanese car dealers. Are the one's you bought generic or Vette specific, and if they are just for Vettes, what is/are the part number(s)??? Thanks!!
