Funny thing is every question has been asked before. There is actually no reason for anyone to post anything. We should all just come here and do a search all the time without posting. Wouldn't that be an exciting forum??? :)

I remember when I was on the CamaroZ28 forum. I was there for 8 years or so and I would go now and then and answer questions. They were always the same questions of course, as new people bought the cars. Then I'd go away for awhile and when I would go back I would see the people who I had helped would tell the newbies to "Do a search", when I had answered the exact same question for them. And when I did, it was an old question already and I could have easily been rude and told the to do a search.

So basically, before you tell a newbie to do a search, just remember that everything you're asking has also been asked before. But if all people did was search, then there wouldn't be any new posts to read.

Blah...

It's not a stink, your post just didn't have any reasoning to it. Nobody made fun of you. Nobody on this forum cares what you do with your car (unless it's rice) it's yours, who cares what the rest think. :nono: But if you ask for an opinion, make sure you want to hear the answers. :seeya
You may not think Racer44 made fun of me but I would have to disagree.

NEWBIES!!! :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil :reddevil :jester :jester
And I have no problem with the people that answered with their opinion (including the ones that answered with their opinion of your friend).

It looks like the "Newbie" is going to have to be the bigger person and let this drop. Have a nice day.

The search feature doesn't work anyway; they should just remove
it. :smash:

It amazes me how many people seek the opinions of others. But hey, if they want an opinion, I'll give em one. :smash:

I think I could take or leave the body side moldings. But it's strange how the people that don't like them post something showing how much they hate them. The people that do like them don't post anything. The poll is almost even.

If you custom order your car, order it without them! That way you will be able to add them later if you decide you absolutely want them.

If your car came with them, the only acceptable option (IMHO) is to leave them there as this kind of mod is not easily reversible. If you don't, the options listed on the window sticker won't match your car any more... :p:

I personally like the BSM. I also don't see what the big deal was over this post. In fact, I made almost an identical post about 3 months ago or so and nobody thought it was a problem. Donovan, if you have a question or comment, just go ahead and post it. That's what this forum is suppose to be for.

Chris,

Body-side moldings were and are designed to be body bumpers for individuals who park their cars where others can slam doors into them.

They are not a design theme item. They, IMHO, destroy the lines of a C5, and most other cars they are put on.
