If you want your answer without waiting, do a search. There is over one million polls on this exact topic already. :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :_dupe: :_dupe: :D

Sorry, I didn't know it was a worn out subject. I haven't been on this board long. At your suggestion I did a search and found lots on the subject of body side molding (including how to remove it). But the last poll I found was in 2002.

No worries Donovan. You'll find that people who are have dedicated their lives to attaining 5,000,000 posts, for some inexplicable reason, get tired of seeing the same post topics. Sure, they could have read your title and moved on, but it's more fun to make sport of newbies. Welcome to the forum. :D

Thanks for the welcome to the board Zoomin!

All I can say is I hope I never have over 6k posts on this board. I've been on several other boards for quite some time and I never have understood why there are always "repost police" on every board. I apologize to any old heads I've offended with my newbieness.

I'm undecided actually.
I'm confused
1) you have a car with them & may want to take them off.
2) you have a car without them may want to put them on.
3) you are getting a car & can't decide which one to buy.

I'm considering a 2004 ZO6. I'm not sure if I like the body side moldings or not. I didn't know I was going to stir up a big stink over it though. I just thought it would be interesting to see how others felt about them.

don't worry about the dupe police, and welcome to the board.

Personally I don't like them, I think they look tacked on and they don't have a real purpose(other than avoiding dings). you don't see a ferrari or Lambo with BSM's.

It's not a stink, your post just didn't have any reasoning to it.
Racer44's initial response included a :D & a  , followed by a good selection of threads for you. Nobody made fun of you, just fowarding you to the quickest answers. :smash: Do you really think you'll get a heavy one sided answer? It's like asking the Forum if you like red cars or black cars better? The BSM's have no performance gains, are not aftermarket, and are a factory option that can be added or removed at anytime. If you think they add to the lines of the car, get them. If you think they look like a hairy mole on your grade 5 teachers face, don't. If you are undecided then save youself a $150 bucks. Have you ever left a Vette alone after you bought it? I was going to keep mine bone stock... :yesnod: ...now I've spent well over $20K on it! :banghead: Nobody on this forum cares what you do with your car (unless it's rice) it's yours, who cares what the rest think. :nono: But if you ask for an opinion, make sure you want to hear the answers. :seeya

Man, the newbies are really hammering us Vets. :smash: :smash: I supplied a bunch of links to help them out and they are all over me. I wish I was a newbie, they are the backbone of this forum. :leaving: :lolg:

That's because you are so mean. :D Stop supplying links and just answer the damn polls...no comments. :smash: And give Donovan some credit, he hasn't told you were to go yet... Plus I read in another thread that you aren't classy. :p:

See them in person. They look OK with some colors, and not so OK with others.
