Anyone who thinks it looks just like a regular C4 hasn't seen them both side by side.
I've seen them side by side many times at our Corvette Challenge events and IMO they are very similar. I do like the ZR-1 and I especially like it with the late model 5-spoke rims.
Similar, yes. But in 1990 the square tailights were very unique, yet subtle. The fact that it is an integrated widebody, starting at the doors, unlike the slapped on fender flares of a 96 GS (and heaven forbid, the same treatment on the C6 Z06 buck that we've all seen) is why I love the ZR-1 bodystyle. Those who know what they are looking at know it's something special, and to the layperson, well, stealth has always been appealing to me.
