Default Wow just found out

Wow! Just found out from Bob at Fitchner Chevrolet that my coup had a brand new factory engine installed under GM warrenty in Oct.01 at 44,000 miles. I bought the car used in Jan. 02 with 44,000 and change. Is the new car warrenty for 3 years or 36,000 miles? If so why do you think GM put a new motor in this car? She currently has 80,400 miles on her, New engine only 36,000 miles This car has not caused me any problems other than column lock, Just routine maintenence.

I only found this out because I have decided to spruce her up and bought new driver side seat leather top and bottom at Fitchner (great price) because of the side bolster disintagrating, while pass side looks brand new.
They have a special at Fitchner Chevrolet that with a purchase over $100
you get build sheets and the complete GM repair history.

I would never have found out about this if it were not for the Fitchner special! Thanks Bob.

For all of you who have purchased "previously owned" vets This information may provide interesting information!

Old motor probably liked to suck oil.
