Default Will not start on first try!
When hot my 2000 C5 will not start on the first try; it will spin over three or four times without starting, but if I turn the key off and try again it will start. It does this constantly when hot. If any body knows what the problem is please help. It is very embarrassing and any help you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Start with the fuel filter. Sound s like it is starving at startup, but fills as the car sits.

turn key to acc wait pump pedal once then crank
see if it is the pump that way

I had this happen during a trip, turned out I got a "bait & switch" during one fill up. bad fuel.

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be my fuel pressure regulator...
