Supercharger???
Hello everyone 
, what would be the best way to increase horsepower....supercharger or heads & cam?? What would be best for my 01 vert with 52 thousand KM? What kind of supercharger is the best and what kind of heads and cam would be best? What would be the $$$ and horespower difference between the two if any at all?

And you would need the supercharger for what? to race the cops or ricers in Richmond. If you got a supercharger you would probably be without a license in 6 months given your track record.

How much power to you want? What are you going to use the Vette for, racing, daily driving.. ect? What is your spending budget? How much drivablity are you willing to give up? Is your girl gonna give you a bunch of BS about your upgrade?

Fogetta-about-it! Too much power and you can't hook (unless you like to smoke-em ). Then you will have to go to drag radials, suspension upgrades, etc. How much power do you really need???

You posted this before. I think with your driving history, you should think about driving a little smarter. Unless you want the SC for the track. But from reading your posts in the past I can't remember hearing of your being at the track, just around town. Either way best of luck to you.

It would still be for daily driving but that power would be used at the track...one of my buddies drives a 03 viper it'd be to race him on the quarter mile...daily driver...but im smart with the pedal now...i keep at least 5 km/h slower then the speed limit....i need to keep my license

From a still noob prospective, the SC will give you more but cost more. If you do the C/H or Heads/Cam 1st, you'll have more to support the SC someday.
But like one gentleman said, we don't know your budget.

You could do heads and cam for that budget. But, you would need at least 10k Canadian to do supercharger. If you do heads and cam first, it will likely not be compatible with a supercharger later because of the higher compression.
If your intent is to drag race the car, then heads and cam would be your best bet along with a small shot of nitrous. Also, be prepared to break things at the dragstrip.

I thank God that you don't live near me. You yourself have told us how irresponsible you are. Sorry to state the obvious, but not to many people mature as fast as you like to think you have without a near death experience. I realize that this isn't the nicest post, but I really wouldn't like to see you hurt yourself or- much worse- someone innocent. I'd suggest putting that $6,000 of your Dad's money towards professional driving school.
