Try the new and improved Mequiar's anit-wrinkling clay bar with olae.

Cheaper and better than botox and then give her a Mother's carnauba wax job.

If it works, do the car next

I'd use a grinder on it. The clay bar is to slow.

Before you do anything drastic I'd suggest something that no one here has mentioned...try a Clay bar. I used one to remove the paint from a road crew that was painting yellow lines without cones.

The clay bar will removethe overspray. I made a mistake a couple of weeks ago and used a spray pain in the driveway while the garage door was open. I quite a bit of oversrpay on the back half of the car, it it all came off.
I have decide the next time I need to use spray paint, I'll cover the car and keep the door CLOSED.

Well I think you have your answer . While spray painting my calipers red, I got quite a bit of overspray on some parts of the Vette that I forgot to cover. The clay bar took it off, but it did take a while, Just use plenty of liquid (water or whatever the claybar manufacturer recommends) and take your time. Good luck to you.

Sem Solve, available at pro paint supply stores. I quit using clay after dragging a million scratches into a dark blue car. Yes I was following the directions to the letter.

Sem Solve is a spray on aerosol that removes overspray, bugs, tar, wax, but no chance of damaging paint. Wash the car with dawn, then use Sem Solve with a cotton towel to wipe off the overspray still on the paint. You may find the dawn takes off a lot by itself. Then rewash with good car wash soap, and rewax. I follow the approach of starting with the mildest approach and work up until you find what removes the problem. You'd be amazed at the gunk Dawn or Murphys oil soap will get off, just have to rewash with good car wash soap and rewax when done.

I hope you have the same luck all these folks have had using the clay bar on overspray. It sure didn't seem to help at all during the seven tries I did on my daughter's black Mitsu 2000 GT. They spray painted a building near where she worked (white, of course), and the wind blew the overspray all over her black paint.

BTW - tried suing for a new paint job. Turns out the painter did have any money, insurance, bonding....... zip. Oh, and only spoke Spanish. What do you expect in Florida.

Just be careful not to overdo the clay bar

It can damage your finish.

I sure hope you thanked your wife for doing all that work and bought her some flowers or took her out to dinner WITHOUT saying anything about the car.

Some things are better left un-said.

Oh yea....try a clay bar.
